ADVANCED BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION

ELIGIBILITY

The Advanced Business Certificate Examination is available to

(a) School Candidates as well as candidates who study privately towards the examination.

•  Candidates who have obtained passes in the relevant subjects at the GCE 'O' Level/Senior Secondary School Certificate/General Business Certificate/Royal Society of Arts Stage II/London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stage II Level. Where the Business Certificate, an allied subject may be considered.

SUBJECT FOR THE EXAMINATION
The Examination, like the General Business Certificate is conducted on Single Subject Entry basis as well as Group Entry basis. The subjects available at the Advanced Level are as follows:

GRADING
There are seven grades in order of merits as follows: Grade A to Grade E, Subsidiary and Grade F. The first six grades, A, B, C, D, E and Subsidiary are pass grades while Grade F denotes Fail. A Subsidiary pass is a standard below Advanced Business Certificate but above General Business Certificate.

CONDITIONS FOR THE AWARD OF CERTIFICATES
A Group Diploma will be awarded to candidates who pass ALL THREE SUBJECTS AT ONE SITTING. A candidate who is unable to satisfy the conditions for the award of a Group Diploma is awarded a certificate in the subjects he/she passes.
